- 1 Salmon Fillet Cut in half, with or without skin
- 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- 1/4 Onion sliced
For the honey mustard sauce
- 2 tbsp dijon mustard
- 3 tsp honey
- Water the amount needed depending on the consistency you desire.
Start by seasoning the salmon with salt and pepper.
Heat the olive oil over medium heat in a pan.
Add the salmon, skin side down and the onions, and cook on each side for 3-5 minutes, being careful not to let it get dry.
Mix the honey mustard ingredients together in a small bowl.
You can either add the honey mustard to the pan with the salmon and cook it together for about 2-3 minutes, or serve it on the side.
